Count Orlok

My sister has a thing for Orlok/Nosferatu (yes she's a little odd but in a good way ) she has my first Orlok attempt on her wall    , I said I could do a better one now as I was very rusty and out of practice with drawing then. So she said why not do another? so I did, frustratingly she prefers the old version! .  Oh well maybe I can use this new drawing for a profile/avatar.

This has been drawn on A3 grey pastel paper using chalk, charcoal and a 9b pencil for details. After scanning Orlok went a shade of blue on my computer (oddly) but I liked the new look so added some subtle colour with tints using gimp.

Ps: If you're wondering why he has a giant rat on his shoulder well in the 1922 film wherever he goes a plague of rats follows, not to mention when times are hard he'll eat rat..
