Description
A study of a lipizzan horse, these horses start out dark grey and lighten as they age. Interestingly the name Philip means lover of horses. 
Its on A3 tinted pastel paper drawn using charcoal blocks,pastels,chalk,and a little watercolour, did the fine details with a charcoal pencil. I used a reference from a calendar alas I don't know who took the photo , though I changed the background completely to give it a different feel and look.

Well it looks like this horse is doing a happy trot through some muddy water I see.
