Description

This is a portrait attempt of my grandmother who turned 100! last Saturday :party: :D
This is a solid likeness and I'm pretty happy with it all in all, I feel a bit weak at portraits so this was good practice. 
I've not shown her this drawing yet, not sure what she will make of it! I had to guess draw the right eye as it was shut in my reference, the muscle is weak so it droops, other than that she is going strong and will no doubt outlive us all! ;)

This is on A4 paper and I used a 2b mechanical pencil and a 4B for darker tones.

Many happy returns to her! And 100 is an incredible milestone to achieve! What stories she could tell and what changes she's witnessed  since 1915! :)

Your art is at a peak these days! And it reflects in the subjects you can do. :)
