Well I hope they just take it and not kill it as this is the last unicorn! never trust a fair maiden!
I wanted to experiment with some black paper I have and came up with this, used a beautiful reference for the horse pose www.deviantart.com/art/nico-an… everything else was down to me.
I used black windsor and newton pastel paper and white and silver colour pencils mainly. For the moon I had play with adobe photoshop elements to help give it that glow look, I wanted to experiment you see

Originality Technique ImpactHi, I'm mashkina and hope my critique will be of use.
First, congrats on your black paper experiment! The theme you picked looks very good in white on black. The more one looks at the piece the more details are there to discover.
I like how you did the trees - very refined and realistic, the sky and the unicorn, of course. It looks great, all muscles are in place, coloring gives it needed volume.
The problem i have is with the hunter, I never noticed him until read the artists comments. He's getting lost with the tree behind. Mayvbe more of him needed to be in the picture to get noticed right away. Or his features done in thicker heavier lines.
Also, unicorn's tail looks somehow unnatural, like there's a blow of wind behind the animal. But, well, what do i know maybe there is.
